Embed a PhotoBucket presentationThis is a featured page

PhotoBucket is an online image-sharing website which allows you to upload videos and images, edit them and create a presentation of your images with sounds and other effects.

After you have created a slideshow presentation in PhotoBucket you can paste its embed html code into edublogs.

There are a few steps to make this happen.

Step 1 Join PhotoBucket and Upload Photos

1. Join PhotoBucket

2. They will send you an email confirming that you joined and they also give the username and password you gave
when joining.

3. Sign in to PhotoBucket using your username and password.

4. Upload photos from your computer.
There should be a link or button that says 'Upload'
A couple of quick ways to select the photos from your computer
  • holding down the ctrl key as you select individual photos if you do not want to choose all of them.
  • hold down the shift key and select the first photo and also click the last photo to select all the photos in between, at once.
5. You will then be asked to give your photos a title and a tag. The tag helps locate the photos when you are
searching for them. eg a photo of a farm could have the tags: 'farm, rural' etc

6. These photos will now show up when you click the "My Albums" button.

The image on PhotoBucket has 4 codes which allow you to use them in some way on other websites.

You may email or text message your photo to a friend using the first code.

You may paste the direct link into an instant message site for others to click and see it on your page in photobucket.

Pasting the HTML code will make the image show up on another website you have eg a blog or wiki.

I'm not sure what the IMG code does. (If anyone knows the answer to this one please edit this page and add the information)

Step 2 Create a SlideShow in Photobucket using your Images

1. In PhotoBucket click the
"My Albums" button.

2. Click "remix" button.

3. You will see this window with instructions on how to create your presentation slideshow.

Copying the embed code and pasting into the edublogs post will make it appear on your blog.
